Thin White Sauce

Ingredients

1 cup

  • 1 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 Tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Dash teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup milk

2 cups

  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 Tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cup milk

Directions

Heat butter in sauce pan until melted. Stir in flour, salt and pepper and cook over low heat stirring constantly unti smooth and bubbly.

Remove from heat and stir in milk.

Heat to boiling stirring constantly. Boil at least 1 minute.
